We heard from Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman recently. He laid out what he envisioned for the Blackhawks in the present and future.
In general, Bowman and Blackhawks coach Jeremy Colliton have been lockstep over the last few years. What Bowman said likely wasn’t going to be much different than what Colliton would have to say. There’s plenty of communication between the two, and their overall message is similar.
But Colliton is the person behind the bench, the one making the lineup decisions, delivering good and bad news to players and managing everything from ice time to egos. His role is different.
