Lindsay Pennal

Executive Director, NHL Coaches’ Association

Based in Toronto, Lindsay Pennal has over 18 years of corporate strategy, business development, marketing and communications experience across a range of industries including finance, bioscience, technology, education and sports. From 2006 to 2016 Lindsay held progressively more senior roles within the Canadian financial services industry before launching a consulting practice to assist companies with developing and executing their business development strategy.

Lindsay has provided consulting services to the NHLCA since November 2016 before joining the Association full time as its President in January 2019. She was elected Executive Director effective September 1, 2023. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.

Robyn Masters

Senior Manager, Partnerships & Events

Robyn Masters is an accomplished professional with over a decade of expertise in event management and operations, marketing, and sponsorships. Since January 2024, she has served as Senior Manager of Partnerships & Events at the NHL Coaches’ Association, where she excels in cultivating partner relationships and implementing revenue growth strategies. Prior to this, she was the Operations Manager for the Toronto Arrows Rugby Club, where she played a key role in overseeing event logistics and sponsorship initiatives.

Robyn holds a Bachelor of Arts from Huron University College.

Hannah Turnbull

Senior Manager, Marketing & Operations

Hannah Turnbull brings over five years of expertise in marketing, operations, events, and programming across various sectors of the sports industry. Her experience spans both Provincial and National Sport Organizations as well as professional sports, including hockey, baseball, rugby, athletics, softball, and soccer. Since joining the NHLCA in 2018 as an intern, Hannah has consistently demonstrated her versatility by supporting multiple areas of the organization. In her current role, she develops and implements marketing and communication initiatives, oversees continuing education resources and programming, and provides support to the NHLCA’s member coaches.

Hannah holds an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University and an MBA (Marketing) from the Australian Institute of Business.
