About the Clinic
The NHLCA Global Coaches’ Clinic, hosted annually by the NHL Coaches’ Association, offers a platform for NHL coaches to share their knowledge and expertise with the broader coaching community. The clinic focuses on educating coaches about strategies and techniques used at the highest levels of hockey, while ensuring the content is applicable to all age groups and skill levels. This approach ensures that every attending coach gains valuable insights to enhance their own growth and contribute to the development of their players.

IIHF International Coaching Symposium
Assistant coaches Don Granato and Dan Lacroix represented the NHLCA at the 2019 IIHF International Coaching Symposium May 18-19 in Bratislava, Slovakia during the 2019 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship.

In partnership with the NHL and the NHL Global Series, the NHLCA returned to Europe with a stop in Prague to kickoff the 2024-25 season. During the 2018-19, 2019-20, 2022-23, 2023-24 seasons, the NHLCA hosted clinics including 2 in Australia, 2 in China and more than a dozen across Europe, including Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Finland, and the Czech Republic.

The 2024 NHLCA Global Coaches’ Clinic presented by SAP was hosted at Circa Resorts & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 27 & 28. Over 700 coaches attended for a jam packed two days of learning and networking.
2024 NHLCA Celebrity Golf Classic
The 2024 NHLCA Celebrity Golf Classic was hosted at Bears Best Las Vegas in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada. Over 100 golfers including 20 NHL coaches joined us for a fun day of golf while helping to support the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation!
