The Edmonton Oilers announced today that head coach Colin Chaulk, associate coach Keith McCambridge, assistant coach Adam Krug, and goaltending coach Kelly Guard have all signed multi-year extensions to remain in their respective positions on the Bakersfield Condors coaching staff.
The 45-year-old went 19-12-3 behind the bench for the Condors last season after taking over interim coaching duties in February.
There was plenty of buzz when the Edmonton Oilers fired head coach Dave Tippett and replaced him with Jay Woodcroft from the American Hockey League’s (AHL) Bakersfield Condors, and the din only grew as the Oilers started 5-0 under their new bench boss.
