There is very little of Pat Burns in Sheldon Keefe.

Maple Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe is all in on a Canadian Division. “All fingers are pointing towards that,” Keefe told the Star in a phone interview. “I think it’s I think it’s really exciting.”
One year ago today, the Maple Leafs fired head coach Mike Babcock. The club was mired in a six-game winless streak (0-5-1) and sitting outside the playoff picture with a 9-10-4 record overall.
As the quest goes on to get the Maple Leafs more players with a winning pedigree and Stanley Cup credentials, they have added another coach with those needed qualities.
